Dara Kramer

Mrs. Kramer's bio:  I started teaching at BES in the fall of 2004 as a reading intervention teacher.  The next year I started teaching 2nd grade and continued in the 2nd grade classroom until this year when I moved to 1st. 

I grew up in a small central Pennsylvania town and received my BA from Lycoming College (Williamsport, PA) in psychology and a certificate in elementary education.  After subbing and teaching in the School District of Philadelphia, I went full time to grad school.  I earned my Med from Bloomsburg University (Bloomsburg, PA) in reading and passed my Pennsylvania reading specialist test.  I moved to Maryland when my husband got a job in Gaithersburg.
